The construction of The Pyramids solved!!

When I was a little kid, one of the neighborhood urchins would sneak a bedspread out of the house, and a couple of kids would lay down on it, then two or three of us together would take turns dragging the others up and down the driveway, or down the middle of the street while it was temporarily clear, 'til the bedspread gave way. If we'd had this thing, the world would've been our oyster. Especially when it came time to explain to someone's mom the necessity of the bedspread and how we saw no other possible way to do what we had to do...
