'i think u need a better use for your time, Joe' — mira
My new favorite commenter (see the sidebar for more of her work) opined for the very first time ever about an hour ago.
I couldn't agree with you more, mira!
And in fact I immediately went to email you to tell you that.
But before I could get it off in came two more comments.
The first (below)
pointed out, quite emphatically, that the "Training Rock — 'Dog Magnet'" post that began the day's festivities wasn't at all deserving of pride of place.
mira wrote, "i don't see why this needed to be posted...."
Again, I concur — and I continued composing my email to her emphasizing that fact.
But then came this one,
in which she wrote, "Once again, why on earth did feel the need to post this...?
mira, I don't know!
Really, I don't have a clue why I do what I do — I can't help it!
And so I finally got off my reply to her.
But then came this back:
Oh, now I get it: "nunyabusiness" — ha ha ha.
Not only is she insightful as heck but she's cleverer than the average TechnoDolt™.
A winning combination in my book.
More please, mira.
Pretty please?

okay...how about a new quote my professor in Critical Theory and Quantitative Reasoning gave us? I found it intriguing that a professor of Mathematics could touch a chord with an English major like myself. He said "The meaning of life is the sum of all the answers that aren't in the back of the book."

mira: I just figured you were new around here.
Most of us are either used to this crap or... we probably suggested them in the first place.
Give it a try. Send something ridiculous to Joe and see what he does with it. Kinda Fun!

She seems like a nice lady.

What they said.
Strap-on dog poop holders, oddly flavored & sized Tootsie Roll Pops, strange coffee mugs, the Al Davis exhibit at Madame Tussaud's, stupid cartoons drawn by vacuous commenters -- how else would we get exposed to these epochal chunks of civilization? How could a Sonic Travel Toothbrush-less society survive?

What? A post not about Hannah Montana or Drinking?
Joe...you have better things to do with your time.

Yeah Joe, why do you post amusing stuff that we'd never come across without you? Why, dammit?!

Very expressive. No doubt about it. I think I can see what you find so appealing Joe...
