We actually have a Veggie-Peel and find it very easy to use. The handle is comfortable, too. We use it quite often and it really does cut back on clean up time. We also like the fact that we don't have to peel over the kitchen sink so our drains don't get clogged from vegetable peelings anymore. Pretty good product. Don't know why someone never thought of it before!

I'm not a cook and I usually make a huge mess around me, so I would definitely like this... Too expensive for something not vital, but still cool.

I agree totally with Milena -- too unwieldy. I peel veggies lightning fast and I'd have to keep stopping to empty the thing out. Plus which, it's kind of fun to watch the furballs go running after errant peelings that go flying out to the sides. It could substitute as a really unusual, somewhat frightening and generally repellent codpiece, though, I suppose.

This will never do. Too cumbersome. No cook designed this gadget.
