move the clamps in tighter for your armchair.
we moved the clamps "out" for our couch - so
it would not dent our leather. you could do the reverse
and it would hold tighter on your armchair.

I have this armchair-table, springs are not strong enough to clamp around the chair. Once you start putting items heavier than a remote control on it, it starts to tip. If you sit in the chair and move around, you'll accidently knock it off balance and everything will fall to the floor! POC!

First off, I have to assume the sofa, as pictured, is included.
But are the powerful springs powerful enough to hold the cat (wider than 8 inches, by the way) when it relocates the drink and snack in order to commandeer the table?
