Tokujin Yoshioka's Natural Crystal Chair — Can he grow one for you?
Long story short:
The Japanese designer (above and below)
forms the skeleton (below)
from a polymer elastomer,
then submerges it in a tank and voila —
a chair!
Pretty amazing.

I bet you anything that there is a long line of would-be Fakirs who've already put their orders in for one of these bottom shredding beauties. My hunch is that it works like the rasp ring does, but on the nether parts.
