Flight Delay Information From Mission Control

Jygyuj

Why bother with your airline's useless or nonexistent information when you can tap right into the Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Control System Command Center's website for the lastest in airport conditions and delays around the country?

"The status information provided on this site indicates general airport conditions; it is not flight-specific."

Another cool resource is flightstats.com. It's probably no different than the above site re: current airport delay info, but there's some neat planning tools that let you check historical delays by airport for a given date, or find out an individual flight number or route's on-time performance record, etc. Pretty useful to explore, and beats learning the hard way which flights and routes are most reliable for multi-destination business trips at various times of year.
