Snowball Maker/Launcher
The snowball arms race continues.
Not content with the Gen I iteration introduced back in 2005 that makes perfect snowballs one at a time, the trolls out back in the winter sports skunk works have come up with this puppy, which not only makes three at once but also launches them up to 50 feet so as to give you an excellent head start fleeing your erstwhile targets.
From the website:
- 50-Foot Snowball Launcher
This toy blaster makes and launches softball-sized snowballs up to 50 feet, allowing rapid long-range assaults during neighborhood snowball confrontations.
Simply place snow in the forming chamber and close the lid and it packs three perfectly spherical snowballs.
To blast your mark, place one snowball in the muzzle, aim the launcher and pull back the slingshot mechanism.
Because the blaster is powered by elastomers instead of batteries, it provides uninterrupted fast-action play.
Made of durable, cold-resistant plastic.
Includes targets for shooting practice.
17-1/2"L x 5-1/2"W x 12"H.
Ages 8 and up.
$29.95 (snow not included).
Close readers of the product website above will note that it's vaporware, with "expected ship date 12/19/2008."
If you absolutely positively have to have this, best head over to Amazon which will put two of them in your hot little hands by Thursday or Friday, December 18/19.
Nearly twice the price, though: $99.95 for two.
