Aha! I saw this before. It's a multi-purpose wedge, for sticking in the hinge side of doors to keep them open, a doorstop, for keeping windows open, etc- http://www.leevalley.com/gifts/page.aspx?c=2&p=61611&cat=4,104,53210&ap=5 I love that catalog!
