But then, what's new?
Up top, my all-time high number of daily visitors (35,000) this past Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
My previous record of 22,000 on May 9, 2008 (below)
bites the dust.
Next goal: 100,000 visitors in one day.
As Albert Szent-Györgyi remarked, "If you're going to go fishing, use a big hook."
I've always liked that approach.

Back in the mid ninety's the going rate was 5 bucks, not so sure now. I've been mostly in the secondary organ market, you know, appendixes, tonsils, spleens, earlobes, that sort of things.

Alas Milena, Joe broke the bad news to me, the spike was from before his picture. You would be out 35,000 dollars. And now you'll never be able to afford a new appendix.

1st guess: You posted on Hyundai's new car. Care to take a guess on how many people were googling for it and were perhaps rerouted to your blog via a search engine? Most likely a lot. A lot, a lot. On a daily basis there are keywords that are search engine HOT. Try a post on panties or erectile dysfunction (always popular) and you shall see what I mean. Oh! And you invoked Beyonce in it too. That was bound to have boosted things even further.
2nd guess: More people than you may have imagined wanted to see the new, spiffy and up to date photo of your Joeiness.
For 35,000 dollars, I'm going for option number 2. ;-)
