'The Most Dangerous Game' – by Richard Connell
His 1924 story won that year's O. Henry Memorial Award.
Long (8,426 words) story short: It's about a shipwrecked man who finds himself on an island with a man who hunts humans.
Too much?
OK, no problema.
How about free?
Is free good for you?
Right here, then.

It started off in a somewhat predictable manner but got better as it went along. I liked it. Very visual in nature. The ending however, was not satisfying.
