Dreams of a voice-controlled computer
It can't come soon enough.
I cannot tell you how many times every day I see the drop-down menu above, requiring me to mouse over the OK button to move along.
Oh, but for the ability to say "OK" and have the same thing happen.
Built-in, off the shelf and requiring no learning curve, installation or other rigamarole.
Real soon now, maybe.

There is a relief for this, which I have been using for almost ten years.

Program PTFB ("Push The Freakin' Button!") from there. Note this is possibly an updated version from the December 1999 one I have installed, I didn't bother to look.

Can't you just hit 'return' or 'enter' for OK and 'escape' for cancel? I don't really use my mouse unless I *have* to.

Doesn't typepad have an automatic save function? I post through blogger and it saves every two minutes. Even if I close the tab, nothing lost. Nothing to click on to say yes I want to navigate away. Maybe there's some way to disconnect or stop this function through typepad. Have you looked?
