Casa Mila
Designed by Gaudi, built between 1905 and 1910 of masonry and concrete.
I was struck last week by the resemblance of the building's rooftop detail (above and below) to the Kewpie doll's hairstyle.
When I saw that the building and the doll came into being at almost precisely the same time, I couldn't help but wonder if Rose O'Neill, the doll's creator, had happened on a photo of the building and, whether consciously or not, incorporated it into her iconic figure.

I think the fence makes it look like a really cool prison.
Maybe a prison for boring artists, kind of thing.

This is on the roof of the structure and the stupid fence keeps tourists from falling something like seven stories. Ha, stupid fence.
