So is it a rule that you cannot graduate from design school without reinventing chopsticks?

Do you have to reinvent the spork if you are in Japan?

Better yet, hold any disposable paper-wrapped chopsticks upright on the table with the thin end of the chopsticks pointing down. Grab the paper wrapper and pull down towards the table. The wrapper will concertina into a perfect chopstick rest, as the chopsticks won't roll off.
