Camera with front-facing LCD: What took so long?
I mean, who hasn't tried to take a self-portrait and had to take picture after picture, guessing what's in the frame?
Lots of other cool features too, such as:
• Swipe an "X" over an image to delete it during playback
• Tap the 1.5" front screen to turn on the camera
• Shoots 720p HD video
• 12.2 MP resolution
• 4.6x optical zoom
• HDMI output
• 3.5" screen

Tap the front screen to turn it on? That would cause problems for me as I like to keep my camera in my pocket (it's also why I decided on a fujifilm z10fd (they have newer models now)). It has a sliding cover over the lens, which seems quite solid, and is easy to just take it out of my pocket for point and shoot.
I've had a few other cameras, but they all had "soft" flimsy retractable covers over the lens, which would invariably get damaged easily from slight pressure on it while in my pocket.

Heck, I had one of these in 1996. :) The Casio QV-10 had a swivel, so that 25% of the camera could spin around. You could rotate it so that you could see your own photo as soon as you took it. That's how I took a lot of self-portraits while hiking the Appalachian Trail that year.

I wonder if a properly constructed mirror might do the same job much cheaper (like they have on some cell phones but much better)???
