Why Twitter reminds me of Technorati back in the day
Early on, Technorati was almost always down.
Nowadays it's reliable.
At least half the time when I try to follow or block someone on Twitter, I can't — the site simply doesn't register the request.
To me that means it's down — not busy, down.
Black or white, up or down, there's no busy or gray.
I don't even get the Fail Whale.
Maybe the Twitter folks will get it right.
Or maybe they won't, and someone else will eat their lunch.
There're a lot of hungry people out there.
