Richard Feynman's 1964 Lectures Now Online

From Terry Tao: "Seven videotaped lectures from 1964 by Richard Feynman given at Cornell, on 'The Character of Physical Law,'  have recently been put online ... with a number of multimedia enhancements (external links, subtitles, etc.). These lectures, intended for a general audience, broadly cover the same type of material that is in his famous lectures on physics.

I listened to "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman" on audiotape last month. Took two weeks. It was a fascinating look at Los Alamos, the inner workings of a great scientific mind, and the US in the 20's - 70's. I especially liked his swinging 50's and 60's. Odd to think of such a scientific great being a player. His fascination and time in Brazil and Japan was fascinating.

I HIGHLY recommend this book, either on paper or tape.
