That is brilliant, a classic! If you ever want to (to me) experience the greatest comic creator, look no further then "Pogo's" creator Walt Kelly. If you delve into this "awakening of the senses" you will forever be changed.

Hmmm...Barney Google. Prescient.

I must dig out my Calvin and Hobbes Sunday color strip on the appreciation of autumn (and all things good and enjoyable, actually). It's been thumbtacked to the corkboard in my craft room for years, under tons of crap thumbtacked over it. Calvin states his position very vividly; I just can't remember exactly what it was. Must find!
