After all that visual and graphic work, they fall flat on their faces with the script. She should not be saying that her name is Mona Lisa, she should be saying that her name is Lisa Gherardini or, Ma Donna Lisa Gherardini. Ma Donna meaning my lady and it's contraction (Mona), the same. Alternatively, she could have said, you may call me La Gioconda or Mona Lisa though my real name is... bla.. bla.. bla. What's the point of going through so much trouble if the information you impart is not up to date or entirely correct?
