Apple rocks my world
Gaze in rapt admiration and awe at my next computer, just announced by Apple and already on its way to bookofjoe World Headquarters™ here in Charlottesville.
As is so often the case with my second-favorite company (Google's #1), they've exceeded expectations with that stupendous, eye-wateringly beautiful 27" screen.
Did I mention that I've been creating bookofjoe on my 15" G4 PowerBook (currently running 10.3.9) since the spring of 2005?
I'm barely able to stay on the treadmill as I type these words, I'm so excited.

You are the third person I know to get one of these today. Good for you! I am on a brand new 17" MBP, so I have no complaints. :-)

Nice, but... I been working with an I-Inc 28" monitor I snatched from CompUSA/Tiger Direct for $279 (included shipping AND a $20 rebate from Pay-Pal. Running Linux Ubuntu 9.04 (FREE, YES FREE and SWEET!), XP Pro, and Windows 7....With outstanding programs... Do I like Apple, YES, Do I need (OVERPRICED) Apple, NO! Are Apples safer from Internet attacks, generally speaking, Yes! Can you protect your PC, Hell yes if you follow a few simple rules. OK, when can I come over and play with your new toy, tomorrow you say, I'll book a flight from Pittsburgh pronto AM tomorrow!
