The brand famous for sunglasses has been supplying the armed forces with equipment, including combat-ready boots, since the 1980s and now those on civvy street can enjoy following the superhero specifications, too."

What's with the two holes on the side of the boot that Oakley doesn't like to show straight on (see http://www.oakley.com/a/2e/9b/BAh7CGkKIgwyNjh4Mzg1aQtsKwfECeZKaQhpAsry.jpg>side of boot shown on Oakley's site)? Wouldn't those holes negate "resists oils, fuels, chemicals"?
