What makes good information design?
London-based author, writer and editor David McCandless, whose book "The Visual Miscellaneum: A Colorful Guide To The World's Most Consequential Trivia" was just published by HarperCollins, offers his take (above) on his website Information is Beautiful.

He's probably studying right now.
With China's second lunar probe, Chang'e-2, set for launch in October 2010 and its first lunar lander and rover scheduled to be launched from the Xichang space center in 2013, China is on schedule with its plan to put a man on the moon by 2020.
I look for the Chinese to launch the first manned Mars mission around 2040.

It's time.
World's first 3G HSDPA with video conference capability and 1.43" color touchscreen can be used with any SIM card and requires no activation.
A snip at $1,800.
Bonus: it comes unlocked.

Try it both ways, see for yourself.
I've been telling people for at least 20 years to bag the breathing attempts and just do chest compressions.
Looks like the American Heart Association's finally come around.
