Macs gone wild
For some time now I've noticed how, when a computer is seen in a picture accompanying editorial content in a newspaper or magazine, it's invariably a Mac.
So today I finally said to myself, "Oh yeah? Prove it."
OK, doubting Thomasinas: have a gander at the photo up top, which appears on page 8 of today's New York Times, accompanying N.R. Kleinfeld's front page story.
You need the caption too?
Is there no end to this piffle?
"Ross Greenberg bought an adapter allowing him to transmit the Oscars from his computer to the TVs in his bar in Brooklyn."
Enough?
No?
You want the name of his bar?
Get a life.
This is the first but I promise you not the last in a series I'm gonna slug, for the time being in my files at least, "macsgonewild."
Now on Twitter.
So is Greenberg's bar.
We now return you to our regular fare, thin gruel indeed.

macsgonewild — now live on Twitter
But in case you're hard of hearing — and who wouldn't be with the boombox turned up to 10/10? — I'll elaborate in the next post, due up an hour from now if my calculations are accurate.
Stay tooned.
Speaking of which, don't you agree that the word "stupid" would be so much better spelled "stoopid?"
Just a thought.
