Bowed Lute

Tgfhjk

Known as a huxtar, it is 28 inches high and is played by Uighurs, a Central Asian ethnic group in northwestern China.

It can be seen at the just-opened (yesterday) Musical Instrument Museum — "The world's first global music instrument museum" — in Phoenix, Arizona.

Can't get there?

No problema.

Follow the museum on Twitter.
