Looks like guaranteed broken bones to me, and putting a sharp-cornered table in the middle seems downright homicidal. Cats would go crazy, though, if they didn't strangle themselves. Maybe not such a good idea. How about a rug made out of zillions of innersoles? How could that not be comfy to the feet?
