World's fastest scanner digitizes a 200-page book in 60 seconds
Videre est credere.
Long story short: "The system... lets you scan a book by rapidly flipping its pages in front of a high-speed [500 fps] camera."
Can your scanner do that?
Didn't think so.

"That's All", he says!!!!
THAT'S very impressive!
I spent a year (2001)using state of the art document scanners on single (and duplex) papers up to 11x17 inches. Ours could do
30-50 pages per minute. Mechanical page flippers now exist that can be used with this, without researching, I don't know if any
can keep up with this speed(probably nowdays).

hmmm... I'm skeptical. I think it needs a mechanical flipper to avoid the human error factor.
