Yes, indeed, you and all my other readers should do just that.
Everyone's got at least one thing they've done forever that most people don't know about and would adopt instantly once they learned of it.
What better place to improve the world than by passing it on so I can feature it here?
I'll start with one: An ordinary dinner fork works wonders to unknot shoelaces without damaging them. The blunt point of a tine and its gradually increasing girth as it approaches the handle serves to loosen a knot and allows you to get a fingernail's purchase to further reverse the entropy.

Define 'invent' in your context, and how it applies to my post saying that this trick (that someone thought was interesting and unusual enough to take four pictures of, posted on the internet, and was republished by at least 1 person,) is something that I had been doing for quite some time.

Does learning how and when to tie a slipknot count?
Like it looks like they should have just done in the first place in the image above?
