Press-To-Open Split Key Ring — Episode 2: Now Available
When I originally featured this fantastic advance in the split key ring space on February 11, I was hoping against hope that it might actually one day be available.
Lo and behold, it exists.
From $6.95.
My order's in.
Read a rave review here.
More on the invention here.
There's a reason the original is called a split key ring: Who hasn't broken a nail trying to use one?

Looks good - another alternative for changing keys at home is to use split ring pliers, like the ones from Texas Tackle or this one on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Xuron-496-Split-Ring-Plier/dp/B000BL6OZ8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1343062343&sr=8-3&keywords=texas+tackle+split+ring+pliers

As a young-ish person already suffering from pretty nasty arthritis in my hands, I'M GLAD THIS WAS INVENTED.
