Helpful Hints from joeeze: Emily Mortimer's favorite dry shampoo
Asked to name her three* essential beauty products, the actress told the Wall Street Journal that they "... hail from drugstore shelves. I use a cheap dry shampoo called Batiste. It makes your hair white at first but then you don't need to wash your hair for a few days."
*She added, "I use Pond's Cold Cream to take off makeup and L'Oreal mascara."

Oh, that Emily! She's so sensible, isn't she?
There still lingers a "dry" shampoo that came out in the 70s called Pssssssst.
But best of all, you can use a little bit of corn starch, brush it in, brush it out and it has the same effect.
To me, it's a lot less work just to go ahead and wash my hair.

Batiste, huh? I can't believe they're still making cornstarchy dry shampoo crap. I don't guess anybody around here's old enough to remember Minipoo: "When you can't shampoo, Minipoo!" In those days, the idea was that you 'couldn't' (or shouldn't) shampoo on 'those' days of the month. When the moon was full...and the wolfbane was in bloom...
