My maternal parent's cursive was textbook perfect. As a psychiatrist her charting / orders were occasionally challenged as the work of a nurse on the ward. That never lasted very long. The petit blonde Tulane class of 1950 grad had a nickname: the war department.
In 1951, at her Internship at an East Coast location, one surgeon made the mistake of copping a feel of her modified sweat glands after she had scrubbed, robed and gloved. She picked up a scalpel swung around and offered to release some orchies from the surgeon with the hand problem. RIP, Mom.
