I sure don't recommend doing what the one photo illustrates: scattering them along your sidewalk. As cute as it looks, kids ARE going to pick them up. Young ones may attempt to eat them, with bad results possible. Either way, the glowy beans will migrate elsewhere.
Now if you could set them in a matrix like concrete, maybe....
