Life in the Hobbit Hole
Wrote reader Jerry Young,
"Yes, a guy actually lives
in this little hobbit hole,
and he seems
rather sane to me."
From The Tiny Life: "When you hear the word 'hobbit,' immediately you think small, but I didn't think this small. The Hobbit Hole is a 'miniscule place of peace' and he isn't kidding — this house is all of four feet tall. You enter through a small door and make your way along a curve into what looks like a burrow. In addition, he has built a bath hut and a sauna on the two acres that he leases for $100 a year."
See video below
for his story.

I too ride a Terratrike. It is my most beloved possession, just hit 4000 miles on the odometer, in shorter rides of course. It's height, or lack thereof, makes it invisible to many cars, so I ride our local levee/bike trail along the San Francisco Bay, pure bliss, with my nano turned up. Still, in day to day matters, I'm not ready to give up my carbon footprint just yet. Kudos to him.

That gives me the claustrophobic heebie-jeebies just looking at it. And last I knew, I wasn't claustrophobic.
