One-way mirror public toilet: Are you brave enough to go?
Monica Bonvicini's 2004 work,
"Don't Miss A Sec," was a real usable public toilet surrounded by one-way mirrored glass.
It was impossible to see in
but the "user" could see out
as people passed by London's Tate Gallery.
Full disclosure (as it were): I'd use this in a Podunk town yoctosecond.

You can have the runs but you can't hide....

Takin' a wizz? Never really bothered me who watched.
Takin' the poo? There is something vunerable about this. I may have done unspeakable things to someone else 5 minutes earlier wearing not a nothing, but the minute I have to poo...I'm locking the door and hiding even from myself...

Oh yeah! Yeah, yeah, yeah! You couldn't get me outta there!
There's just something so insanely bizarre about that, it appeals to my, um, hmm......my streak of insane bizarreosity.
I understand the concept, but the toilet isn't even necessary - just let people go in there and stand & watch. (Right, like watching is ALL they'd be doing...)
