Tovolo King Ice Cube Tray
From Cool Tools: "This ice cube tray remains one of my best purchases this year. They're not just a novelty, either, as their gargantuan size means less surface area and slower melting for a chilled and less diluted drink."
Cubes measure 2 inches in each dimension.
Blue, Red, Green, or Pink.

Stolen Jewels — Tangible vs Virtual
From the website:
..............................
An exploration of tangible vs. virtual in relation to real and perceived value.
Using Google Image Search, the designers browsed through some of the most expensive (and often famous) jewelry in the world.
The resulting low-res images were stolen, doctored, then transfered to printed and scored leather, creating a tangible new incarnation.
Six pieces were created:
• Golden Jubilee Diamond Broach
• Ruby necklace with brooch
• Tutti Frutti necklace with earrings
• Great Chrysanthemum
• Hope Diamond Broach
• Van Cleef & Arpels Ruby and Diamond Earrings
..............................
Apiece, $169.

Gray Cat adapts to changes in the cable box space
I've been doing some rearranging of the hardware in front of my TV, in response to the entry of a Bose all-in-one TV sound box to the hallowed precincts.
The only imperative laid down by her highness: the Comcast box always goes on top no matter what else happens.
That's because its antediluvian hard drive emanates excess heat which creates a very toasty, comfy, and alluring surface for Gray Cat's frequent sleeping sojourns.
I noticed that her legs were falling over the sides after my latest rearrangement which certainly is unacceptable.
I went to the linen closet and found a nice flannel sheet which, when folded appropriately, fits perfectly between the tower of electronic satellite/cable/sound power and the front of the TV.
Gray Cat, photographed above giving the new set-up a test spin, stretched mightily after she awoke, then pronounced herself satisfied..
All here heaved a huge sigh of relief before standing down and returning to our regularly scheduled activities.
Now would you please do the same?
Yes, YOU — I see how you've abandoned what you're supposed to be doing (and receiving a king's ransom for not doing at the moment) and you can bet that if I can see, others are aware.
Fair warning.
Just trying to save your bacon.
The top photo appears to have employed the iPhone 5's flash while the second one didn't.
I oughta know, huh?
I mean, I'm the only one here.
