"Each number represents one year." - doesn't each number/mark represent 1.4 years?

Yow, talk about bringing reality home! Still, it's too absolute. I may die tomorrow, or live to be 104. It would be interesting if it came with little stickers, like a calender does, male/female or religious/cultural variations accounted for. "1st Communion" "Bar Mitzvah", Register for Selective Service" You can Drive/Vote/Drink Now" "Biological Deadline Approaching" "Medicare Eligible woo hoo!"
