George Gobel — A legend long since forgotten (but not by me)
Growing up, I watched his show regularly because my mother did.
I loved it then and it's even better today.
Puts to shame fools like Seth MacFarlane who purport to be comedians.
Feh.
Even the commercials of 1954 — 59 years ago! — are interesting.

George was brilliant, but don't forget Steve Allen.

One of the comedy greats! I learned of George in his Golden Years more than during his Golden Age but he was still hilarious.
Thanks for the reminder. His comedy still stands up, even after all this time.

Hello, I too am a fan of George as well as all of the old radio shows. I wanted to let you know about 2 old radio show archives that I frequently visit. Hope everyone enjoys them.
