Top 10 Most Dangerous Driving Songs — Don't touch that dial!
It's been patently obvious to me since I got my license that the right — or in this context, wrong — song at the right time in a speeding car is a recipe for craziness.
Now it's quantified, which doesn't make it any less true.
Some believe if you can't measure something, it doesn't exist: I'd argue the opposite, that once you measure something it pretty much ceases to exist and instead becomes reality road kill.
But hey, what do I know?
I'm just a brain-dead treadmill-walking blogging anesthesiologist.
Wait a sec... didn't I say that already today?

Way back, before cassettes and all, waiting for these two WAY old-school tunes to come on the oldies station on Saturday night, a gang of us learnin-how-to-drive-and-smoke teenage girls trying to look dangerous in a beige 1960 VW Beetle (the smokes didn't take with me, fortunately):
And then way later, with tapes, still trying to look dangerous & achieving mostly silly and sometimes smashed but incredibly lucky, the same gang in a Mustang:

How about "An American Girl" by Tom Petty?
"Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling Stones was my favorite drunk-driving song about 30 years ago.
Yep, I'm lucky to still be here.
