Bicycle Dynamo Phone Charger
Hats off to the person who realized that the very same principle that powers bike lights can be applied outside the photon space.
It is only a matter of time before we are able to generate enough power from currently wasted individual energy and excess heat resulting from the body's own metabolic processes and activities to run everything.
Solar power is just the beginning: Iceland derives over 25% of its energy from geothermal activity; the wind and the waves traversing our Blue Marble ofter essentially limitless resources for as much time as it will take for our descendants to eventually strike out for the stars.
But I digress.
From the Bicycle Dynamo Charger website:
$47.95 (bike not included).

This is cool. But I still prefer a normal charger, RavPower is a great one for me.

This reminds me of the dynamos that I had hooked up for light on my old bikes 30 years ago. What pains in the ***!!! You'd literally have to crank your legs to get ANY light and had to push twice as hard to move. These days, I have a 'RAVPOWER' 10000mAh battery that I throw into my bike bag that can charge my phone 4 times before it goes dead. There are others, but I amazon'd this and it was the cheapest one day and it works! Monoprice seems to have others that work just as well always at a decent one.
That said, I've seen a new bike that has dynamos built right into the fork with rare earth mags that attach to the spokes...you have a USB port built into the stem and from what I heard, you don't feel any different pedaling with or without that magnets on.
