Recycled Exfoliating Facial Mitt
Is is just me or does this strike anyone else as as somewhat bizarre, bordering on disturbing?
From the website: "Each Recycled Exfoliating Facial Mitt is made from at least 50% recycled PET plastic drinking bottles. That's less plastic in the landfills while enjoying the same exfoliating, lathering, and cleansing power you expect from your [current] facial mitt."
True confession: I have never used nor do I ever plan to use a facial mitt.
Does this mark me as simply out of the loop?
As it were.

Your fleece headband is likely made of recycled bottles. You can thank Pepsi for that smooth, unfurrowed brow.

I like to use scrubbing gloves in the shower, but this mitt looks like it would be too rough on facial skin, plus the idea of scraping my face with used bottles just isn't very appealing.
