Eco-Dent Toothpowder — No more TSA toothpaste follies
Earlier this week I took a plane trip for the first time in many months and was very annoyed with myself when the TSA guy said I had to give him my toothpaste because the tube was too big.
I should know better: I've refined my carry-on gear (I stopped checking bags about 10 years ago and cannot imagine ever checking a bag again no matter where I go or how long I'm gone — nothing but headaches and heartaches) such that I never have to remove stuff that's prohibited.
Part of that refinement is taking only those little tubes of toothpaste that are made for travel, generally with their own paired toothbrush.
But for whatever reason I didn't bring one of those though it was right there in my attic in my "Go Box" but instead took a standard tube of Ultra-Brite.
I made a note to myself that when I returned I'd get some kind of toothpaste that didn't come in a tube for future trips.
I happened on the stuff up top and it came yesterday and I just brushed my teeth with it and it works fine.
Done and dusted.

I highly recommend Uncle Harry's Tooth Powder and a natural hard bristle tooth brush ( Vermont Country Store sells them - 4 row ) or a rotary brush. Your teeth will never feel cleaner. I'll get and try the Eco-Dent for comparison.
