Damien Hirst's greatest career move: breaking into his neighbor's home
"He was living in a squat and stuck in a creative rut. Then one day, concerned for his neighbor's safety, he broke into his house. What he found there triggered a creative explosion."
Damien Hirst (below) himself told the story last week in The Guardian.

Origin of the word "Dilbert" — bookofjoe World Exclusive®©
I was just sitting here reading Evan Connell's 1960 novel "The Patriot" when I came to this sentence on page 90 (above):
"He was a Dilbert if I ever saw one."
Scott Adams was born on June 8, 1957 (you could look it up).
So I'm staking my claim to having discovered the earliest known use of the word "Dilbert."
You got a problem with that?
Show me your bona fides* or go home.
*does not mean "good dog"
