Saving Scotland's Heritage From the Rising Seas
Above and below,
photos from a fantastic New York Times story
about some 3,000 Neolithic structures threatened by rising seas.
They are as much as 5,000 years old, scattered across the Orkney Islands,
an archipelago of roughly 70 islands off Scotland's northern coast.
Fantastic interactive videos.
"We got Banksy'd"
Thursday's New York Times obituary of the great physicist.
From the website:
Industrial earring with an exposed screw.
Inspired by industrial pipe clamps, The Clamp Series by Drilling Lab is a collection of jewelry that celebrates the industrial aesthetics of factories and machining processes.
The designs are manufactured in traditional Taiwanese factories, so the inspiration for the pieces actually comes from the places in which they're made.
The earring is made out of stainless steel, and features an exposed screw.
Black & Silver: PBD coating
