Raven Maps - 'World's most beautiful maps'

No, I didn't say it, the Wall Street Journal did, but I wholeheartedly agree.

I've purchased several of their maps over the years, and they are truly works of art, at very reasonable prices considering their uniqueness and quality.

Today's mail brought their 2005 catalog, with an absolute must-have: Raven's first political world map.

Instead of the conventional five or six pastels, Raven used 185 different colors to demarcate each and every one of the world's countries.

1,827 cities are shown by size class, along with continents, countries, populations, and capital cities.

$40 plain or $60 laminated.

I suggest the laminated version, because invariably people touch maps and leave smudges.

In addition, you can write on a laminated map with a dry erase marker.
