World's second-most expensive iPod accessory
It's the Goldster Audio Concertino, a $4,250 vacuum-tube amplifier and matching set of full-range speakers unveiled late last year.
The most expensive?
That's easy: the forthcoming BMW 760Li (above) with built-in iPod-adapter (below).
That one'll run you around $125,000.
Before you choke, consider that you're also getting a state-of-the-art 438 hp V12 engine that can carry you and your iPod in wood-trimmed, leather-bound style from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds.
Can your Goldster do that?
Didn't think so.
When I was younger, I heard this old adage: it revolved around a tail that wagged the dog... now what was that all about, I wonder?
