MorphWorld: Nicole Richie into Paris Hilton
You know how married couples, husband and wife, sometimes seem to grow to resemble each other over time?
And how people often take on the appearance of their pets?
Nicole Richie has hung out with Paris Hilton so long, she's starting to look like her.
It's startling, actually, when you consider how unlike they appeared when "The Simple Life" began.
I'm reminded of that very scary 1992 movie, "Single White Female,"
in which Jennifer Jason Leigh starts to imitate and then try to become her friend, played by Bridget Fonda.

She looks like a Latina to me but she can "pass" for white her biological mom is 1/2 white 1/2 black and her biological dad is hispanic/latino so she is multi-racial or "mixed" but to me she does look like a white girl and those pictures of her when she was a child she does not look black she still looks like a Latina but WHO REALLY CARES WHAT RACE SHE IS ANYWAY? She's pretty and our newly elected president is black!

Her foster parents, the Richies, are Black. She is biracial...one of her biological parents is of caucasion decent and the other of African decent. I guess since she was raised by blacks and has black heritage from a biological standpoint that would make her black. But she said it herself. All people have a mixed ancestery at one point or another. And, she's beautiful not because she is black or because she looks white...she just is beautiful...WAKE UP PEOPLE! And from the darkest to the lightest skin, it doesn't matter beauty is beauty...DAMN!

Actually, people are not black or white. This is why some folks do not like to be labeled as such. Recognizing ancestry is a less rude way to label people. They can be american of irish decent, or american of african decent. This is not the same as calling them IRISH or AFRICAN, so it makes more sense than saying Black (which semantically almost always is related to negative) or White. As far as what color someone is. A child can look like either parents or a combination or they can look like a relative. "mixed children' are no different. The child of a colored person and a caucasion can look colored, caucasion, or anywhere in between. I should know, I am a woman of color with a british husband and our girl has very fair skin, with big blue eyes and sandy brown hair.

The fact remains that even if you have just a little black you are considered black. I am glad to see that she did not deny it. What is so beautiful is that there is a place for everyone in America, not everywhere is the place for everyone in America, but there is a community for everyone. Stop calling black people African-American, they are not more African then my son is Irish. Half of them could not tell you a thing about Africa. it seems to me like it is an attempt at them not being reminded that they are black, maybe black folks have a problem with being black. If this is the case what can be expected of all others? At the end of they day the world is black or some variation of white.

What does it matter what her race is? That doesn't make her any more or less attractive. And what is a "pretty black girl"? European looking? See, this is where western society eats away at other cultures. Setting the standards for beauty on one certain culture, leaving the rest of us to either conform or be branded as "ugly black girls" because we haven't died our hair blonde and reached the 110pound mark. Beauty is beauty no matter what skin color it comes in. Accept her as she is and stop labeling her- she is a beautiful female- nothing more, nothing less.

And p.s. she dyes her hair blonde and adds blonde extensions but her natural color is a sand colored.

nicole richie is black and yes black ppl can look white. When a white person and a black person have kids they have a child that is a mix, but when two mixed parents have kids (nicole's parents) the genes can match in any way. They can look mostly black a mix (black and white genes paired) or almost completely white (the caucasian genes pair and produce a white-looking child) ppl should learn not to judge a book by its cover . . .when it comes to ppl anyway

hi my name is honey and i am 13 years old i am a big fan of paris hilton and nicole richie i think that yes they are starting to dress the same and wear there hair the same but when people are together for as long as they are and were on the simple life then things do start to rub off on eachother i think they are both boss and fantastic role models to look up to

hello i am fifteen and a big fan of nicole richie and my little thirteen year old sister loves paris hilton so we have watched simple life and we have pictures of them at simple life , awards , functions , screenings and so on . I cannot stress to you enough how much i believe they are their on person . Yes they share a show which was turned down to nicole after nicole hilton had turned it down . I do not see how yous could think this . They have different personalatys and past times and they are still known as one . And it i have noticed its all about nicole copying paris if they were the same colour dress as each other they are characterised as one though it always seams to be nicoles fault they can were the same hair down or up which they usually dont they are then also said to be one or it is that nicole is morphing herself into paris which i dont think is fair . So anyway i have just wished to inform you that it is that many best friends have similar clothes and tastes that though does not mean that they want to be identical and for this instince it is no ones fault and yet the blame should not go on simply nicole . thanks melissa
