Sassafras

This sample is finished by hand planing, and then wet-sanded with 600 grit.
Most samples of sassafras are lighter than this and no wood worked with so far yielded such a delightful odor to the shop.
---I pinched the above from the website, since I wanted to know what sassafras looked like.
Now I want to know what that wood smells like.
