Freeplay Freecharge Weza — Your own self–powered portable energy source

33333nnmcvn

In response to my throwdown challenge back on October 29 for someone to invent a power convertor that plugs into any socket and lets you instantly jumpstart your car's dead battery, Matt Penning sent me info about this fabuloso new product from Freeplay, out of South Africa and without any question the world leader in self–powered devices.

Their latest breakthrough, featured here, lets you use your own foot power to pump up the juice in the portable generator pictured, enough to jumpstart your car or do all manner of other things requiring electric power.

If you prefer you can charge it from a wall socket, with solar power or via wind energy.

Tell you what — you know they've hit the sweet spot: the generator is out of stock until March of next year.

They're gonna sell a ton of these.

Matt noted that the device can indeed be powered by a windmill and wrote, "By the way, I'll bet the generator could be hooked to your treadmill with a set of reduction gears — you would be a 'joemill.'"

I am loving it.

But please, Matt — the correct term henceforth is joemill™.
