Blow Dryer Bonnet

You know you want it.

Picture yourself under your own personal salon–style helmet dryer.

Finally, read the magazines you like.

No one will ever know.

Except me but of course doctor–reader confidentially is sacrosanct.

Even if Patrick Fitzgerald comes sniffing around....

But I digress.

From the website:

Turns your hair dryer into a ventilated hair drying system.

Protects hair by filtering direct heat!

Roomy 12"-diameter vinyl cap is ideal for maintaining fuller styles without blasts from hand-held drying.

Fits hair dryers up to 4" diameter; features drawstring closure for a snug fit.

Adds a whole new layer of meaning to the term "joehead."

Nice price, too: $5.99 here (dryer not included).

Wow, Mum had one of those in the 60s. Only hers had a shoulder strap for the blower which was a special unit about the size of two paperbacks. I remember my job was to unplug her and plug her in again as she moved round from room to room doing the housework. The vinyl hat bit was always tearing and of course, the sellotape she used to patch it up with wasn't up to the heat.
