AirportGyms.com — 'Exercise on the fly'
I like it — tell us more.
From the website:
- At the airport? Have some time? Want to work out?
Welcome to Airport Gyms, the most comprehensive and fastest growing community on the Internet with free listings of airport gyms, airport exercise clubs and airport fitness centers available in and around select popular US (and Canadian) airports today.
With the vast amount of airport-based travel engaged in by active, exercise-conscious travelers and the long delays, long layovers and early arrival times that arise when traveling (along with the current need to be at the airport hours early) — finding an airport gym, airport workout center, or airport exercise-based club in or around your airport terminal may well be possible.
If you are an active, exercise-conscious traveler who would rather spend an hour in the gym (versus an hour in the terminal watching television), or an active traveler who would rather take a yoga class (versus wandering through trinket shops until your flight is ready to board), airportgyms.com can help you find a gym in and around select popular US and Canadian airports.
At the airport? Have some time? Want to workout and exercise on the fly? Check and see if there is an airport gym, airport fitness center, airport workout or exercise club in or around the airport you are passing through so that you can stay fit and healthy while traveling to your destination.

I'm not at the airport, but I am traveling this week. And since I'm running my first 5k ever (at 36) on July 4, I decided to bring my shoes and make myself stay on training schedule since they had a walking track around the hotel. Well, I'm in Birmingham, Ala. - and it's a bit more hilly here than in Mississippi. Some, like me, might say almost mountainous. I didn't think I was going to make it on the uphill back to the hotel. I pictured myself almost crawling back at one time, but I finally made it.
And then they had a live band from 7:30 p.m. till 11:30 p.m., The Tip-Tops, and I just had to dance for four hours. It's my job. Really.
Now I'm wired, wired, wired and I need to go to bed, bed, bed because I have to be back at 7 a.m.
(See, I can't keep a comment to five minutes, much less a search for an answer.) ;)
