World's Most Expensive Laptop Stand

2_1305sgfe

What's so funny, Mr. Purchaser of grotesquely overpriced, ugly functional furniture?

From the website:

    Leap Ottoman Laptop Stand

This ottoman works in two ways for you.

The Leap Ottoman changes from footrest [above, with the chuckling doofus] to laptop station [below]

    with a simple flip.

    • Full-grain leather on a polished aluminum base

    • Cushioned footrest

    • 18½"W x 19"D

    • 15"H ottoman height

    • 25"H laptop height

................

But wait — there's more!

Also works as a PowerDesk™:

or Tan.

$700.

You want a more expensive one? I could make you for for a grand or two, if you like!

I gotta admit -- I do like nice furniture (though with 3 felines running around my house, its Salvation Army rejects with slipcovers for my home). This, however, is sorta cheesy.

Personally, I use a nice rolling music stand that folds down -- looks nice, good cast wheels that lock into place and looks like it was designed for some massive conductors master score.

Then again, I think this:

is more of a Joe thing...

Too funny...You having a bad day Joe? What's so funny for him in the picture? Guess he's thinking of how much they are paying him for one silly pic..oh maybe a few silly pics....We should all be so lucky to have a job where we get pictures taken with very expensive furniture and still call it work...to me that is hysterical...=)
