Green is the new black

Apple green, that is, the color of the sold-out Hamilton Beach toaster pictured above.

I knew the world would eventually come around.

Olivia Barker noted the rise of green in the kitchen space in a brief item which appeared in the July 21 USA Today.

She wrote, "The hue [above] has been the best-selling color of Hamilton Beach's Eclectrics appliance line since last summer."

The color used to be "avacado" and was extremely popular for refrigerators, stoves, etc.

Personally, I think it looks like pea soup - and I am allergic to peas. Yech!

It's too bad Hamilton Beach's products tend to really suck, their toasters might look nice, but they are pretty terrible at toasting AND they suck plenty of power as well. Their blenders are considerdd the worst among pwershake and smoothie fans. Whenever I hear there's a sale on anything by Hamilton Beach, I know it's a marketing ploy for good so bad they the retail stroes want to get rid of them with a no refund policy.
